Not currently listed as dog-friendly for playing rounds
Carnoustie confirmed on 8 May 2026 that dogs are not permitted to accompany playing golfers on their rounds. Dogs are welcome for walks on the courses if kept on a lead, and are allowed in the clubhouse atrium.
Because Dog Friendly Golf focuses on courses where golfers can play with their dogs, Carnoustie has been removed from the dog-friendly course listings. If this policy changes in future, please let us know and we’ll review the listing.
